Goodmorning Los Angeles !

Hello and Goodmorning Kuwait 😉

As I promised I’m gonna continue posting about my Trip last summer 2011 to the states ! checkout previous posts for NY our first stop.

Here we are reaching the Beautiful Sunny Famous California ! everybody loves california I mean who doesn’t! ahhh and I know I’m one of California girls 😛

Let’s start with where we stayed ? well I arranged for it 2 months before our arrival. I made everything the whole reservation and filling the applications and also paying all through emails and fax. all we had to do is to show up and enjoy our stay and that’s what I loved ! and that’s what Happened !

It was all made with Oakwood Temporary Housing exceptional.

They are trust worthy and they made the apartment ready with all my requirments including the extra sofa bed and wireless internet for a reasonable price ! Actually the Family budget was with me so I felt free and told them I need a certain fix price and I got better than what I expected Mashallah !

I asked for a two bed room apartment for a one month Lease in a certain complex at Mission Viejo Orange County its about 1:15 mintues to LA Downtown, but I think on my next visit I’m gonna stay at the same area I guess its in the middle of most of the attractions of California.

so Here is our plan back then !

– Done with NYC.
– Next is california(Mission Viejo) get a place to settle
 an apartment for a month.

– Road trip to San Francisco then back to the apartment in mission viejo.
– Road trip to Las Vegas then back to the apartment.

Why the apartment? because we were 6 persons so its hard to move our luggages to everywere we go and add the road trips we need to move with light luggages and ofcourse don;t forget the non- stop shopping in the states 😛 so save up some space 😛

The name of our complex Camden Crown Valley home sweet home :*

our apartments was in the third floor the complex was so quiet and actually we rearely run onto residents there!as I mentioned before all reservations were made while I was in Kuwait after paying them by Visa and sending the copy by fax the arrival instructions were sent to me by email, all I had to do is print them and put them in a file and take them with me to the states !

Upon arrival we didn’t have to do any check in procedure ! its all done by yourself! how is that ? and that’s what I loved most its so easy

That was the lock on our apartment’s door ! I got the number of the apartment and the secret code and once you set it just bend it over and the key will fall into your hands ! and there you are in the apartments, you will find  extra kes and the gate remote all at the dining table. And the place was set nicely.Upon our check out all I had to do is place everything back to its place and the apartment key back into the lock on the door ! and then head to the airport ! its as easy as this !

If your going soon to the states and interested at staying at Oakwood’s let me know I have contact details with one nice employee who can really be great help in arranging the apartment as You wish ! one more thing is the total price 🙂 lets say we got the apartment for 30 days for 175$ a day, you do the calculations 😉 not to forget the weekly house keeping service.

Since I’m all excited to post about everything I don’t know where to start !!
I’m always over excited kil amnkum ams I cried when I saw el pics maloot our trip last summer to the states:( bs mekhalef I do it for me and for you 😛 its good to go over great memories.

So what do you want me to post about next ? shopping in LA ? or Universal Studios? Disney land ? Sea world? shopping in outlets? Or food 😛 ? come on vote 😛 ambeeeh wallah your gonna love what’s coming up ! shay khyaaaal 😉

  1. The Stig: its temporary housing, furnished apartments you can determine how long you wanna stay the least is a month lease

  2. yep … my wife's friends wanted to go to the States last year same time we went so I was tasked with finding them a corporate (furnished) apartment for them in the Houston area. Ended up finding them a place about 5 minutes from where my mom lives (I'm pretty good at those things hehe)

Anyways … i used to live in Camden properties in Houston when I lived there and they are always very good. Would love to spend a month or so in LA … so might need to check back to ur post then.

One of my Kuwaiti friends took his family to LA for a month or so and they stayed at some apartments right across from The Grove on Sunset. Sounds cool if you ask me 🙂

  3. Randy: to be clear our apartment was one hour something away from LA 😉 we wanted to stay at a new place and ofcourse who haven't heard of OC 😉 and about finding the right apartment .. Did you used google directions while searching for a place to find out that it is next to your mom's ;)? I loved the whole reservation experience it went so easy el7mdellah ! I think iI noticed that complex the one near the grove it was nice but I prefer to visit those malls than stayin in LA and in such a busy place and lets say not that save too 🙂 hope you and your wife go there soon 🙂

  4. What I Like: I'm not really sure 🙂 you can check their site but all I knoe is that their major properties are in California but the expand to all of the states , judt pass by their site or If you like rmail me and I could send you details of whom you can contact to help you find the place you desire 🙂 and I'm sure she will

  5. IAT: it was really easy .. since I know the area very well. i did find some properties using Google search but in the end it was a cold call that ended up being the one … i guess that's the buyer in me … i can source almost anything with a little leg work 🙂

  6. Randy: next time I'm going there gonna ask you for yor recommendations then !
