how and what to pack for a winter destination ?

 

Hello from Sarajevo ! never thought that Im gonna write this one day soon or later but yes Im  in Sarajevo Bosnia right now 😛 anyways before I come back home ( Kuwait ) and bring you all the posts about Bosnia , I thought of sharing the way I packed for this particular destination 🙂 what did I need to pack for my Let it snow vacation ? what do you really need to buy or pack for that kind of vacation …a winter destination? This post is gonna help you  in packing for a winter vacation  and also a snow one 😛 or just packing in general to any destination depending on where you’re going 🙂 come and join me to check how I packed my luggage for a week in Bosnia 😉

one of the things that I love to do before each trip IS TO GO SHOPPING FOR THE TRIP ! but let me make it clear for you guys specially girls 😉 when I say shopping I don’t mean like big time shopping ..no, its just light shopping for essentials for the trip itself like if its for a beach vacation or a winter vacation ..or sometimes I just love to get me some new outfits to wear at the upcoming destination 🙂 well you should know that some destinations require shopping before the trip that’s only if the destination is somewhere like BOSNIA ! I need to wear LAYERS 😛 why because its TOO COLD ! actually its FREEZING ! anyways let’s talk about how you start you packing Process wela to me its a festival baby 😉  

First Climate changes : what I usually do ? I keep tracking the climate changes at the destination im going to ..so it went the same with Bosnia …so people always check the Climate , set it in the weather App in your iphone 😉 so there goes one snap shot of the weather like before my flight in less than 24 hours  

YUMMA MIN EL BARD !! LOOL ….well I’m over excited about being at a really cold destination with a chance of snow 6b3an elayam eli 6afat yahum snow enshallah ma aqabes o ewaqef 😛 I will cry wallah 😛 !!! I mean like seeing snow fall from the Sky ! the last time I’ve seen snow was in Bursna, Turkey back in November 2009.

But the last time I saw it fall of the sky was when I was like 4 years old in the states ! but I don’t even remember 😛  so The shopping is going to be HEAVY ! I was worried that I won’t be Finding stuff at kuwait markets but guess I’m lucky !

Second :  Check what you already have …. list what you can take with you  ( what you need not want 😛 ) and list what you need to shop for ! Then get ready for the shopping !  Girls Let’s Shop and Pack ;D 

1-   Ski or snow Hat , Ear covers,Gloves &  Neck warmer , Well I know I already wear A hejab ( a head cover scarve that some muslim ladies wear ) but still I can enjoy wearing a Ski Hat ;D lazem 3shan etechekchek bil camera 😛 no seriously ana mebrada bil kwait fa eshloon ehnaak ! anyways Lovely collection of Ski Hats you can find almost every wear at the avenues but the ones at  American Eagle Avenues Mall, Kuwait got my attention I guess with all the christmas songs that were playing the time I was shopping there had its affect 😛  So I got me one 🙂 . The ear covers wear a little sister ! she know how muc I love traveling and preparing all the stuff 🙂 thank you katkoota :* The gloves and the neck warmer are from American Eagle ! maghair eli ydesh american eagle eli bil kuwait eyen o ybi eroo7 snow destination ! 

2- Socks and leg warmers : Socks ofcourse are available almost everywhere but I already have some old one’s that I got 1 year ago from H&M , but I got me a new one that you can see in the middle of the above photos from American Eagle . As for the leg warmers 2 were from Marks and Spencer – Kuwait . And two wear from Tukey ! and they are brand new ! ok there my mum’s 😉 thanks mama :*

3- Sweaters with Christmas Spirit 😛 la la sw snow flake 😛 So knt a7ooos bil sooq abi hl sweater 6aqat fi bali ! never had it before ! I found the one on the left side if you look at the above photo but it wasn’t exactly like what I had in mind but it made me smile 😀 its from American Eagle ..as for the one on the right side well the story is just that I couldn’t RESIST it 😛 so I bought it 🙂 Loved the Birght Color ! 7asait jinii fi film native american 😛 aw jithi up in the mountains fi cottage 😉

 4- Snow Gloves well I got mine since the year 2000 maybe 😉 yeah I love my stuff alot ! bought from Frayah Lebanon , last used in Bursa Turkey and now here they are again to be used in Bosnia 🙂

 5- Thermals… I had them from years ago so I saved some money and didn’t go shopping for any 😛 they’re a must !

6 – The Big Heavy Scarf : well smeetah jithi leana I knew its gonna be MOOOT Bardddd in Bosnia and since Im allergic o ham ay kafkhat hawa 3la wayhi antishil eb dqeeqa :p so I got me this lovely scarf few days ago min River Island – Avenues ( Kuwait )

 7- A Snow Coat : a7la shay besalfa hl coat LOOL ! I didn’t have one before ! so officially this is my first 🙂 I did some shopping and with the help of my dear cousin I got me this beautiful warm one from Breshka – Marinall mall , Kuwait . 

 8 – Stay OK back up : everone suffer from something 🙂 always back all the medicines you use along the year ! you don’t know what you need when you really need it ! sometimes its hard to find a hospital or its just not worth it to go to a hospital 🙂

  9 – Bath, Body and Beyond :  always go with the travel size toiletries ..well ofcourse you know why cuz you need to make some space for the new stuff you’re buying fromthat destination 😉 like for me the above is my stuff and I was informed that the hotel doesn’t provide stuff like shampoo and conditioner 😛 it was ok with me 🙂 travling alot made me become that flexible ! and there goes more ….

  bs ma shrait wayed aghraath 7asafa 🙁 anyways this is how you save some space and weight in your bag 🙂 never ever all of your heavy beauty care ..take the amount you need and make them all in one 🙂 as for Lancome eye make up remover it can be found at almost all airport’s duty free  around the world ..cute mini size 🙂

10 – The devices Gear : well depends on how many devices you have and how many you need to take with you on that trip , ofcourse depending on the destination you’re heading to and how many days you’re staying . Always keep those USB’s, wires, adapters and chargers in a small bag and throw it into your big luggage its better and easier to find when you need them 🙂
