Hello Ananas ! Those Pineapple looked so beautiful ! with Ananas we began our first tour in exploring the Island of Sao Miguel. early that morning Gary our tour guide picked us from Pico do Refugio to begin Tour 1 around the Island .
و كانت اول وقفه لنا في محميات الاناناس ! يا زين الاناناس كلش ما توقعت انه شكله بالطبيعه بصير حلو جذي …. بدينا يومنا الاول بالجزيره من الصبح مرنا المرشد السياحي و كانت وقفتنا الاولى خلال الجوله الي اخترناها لليوم الاول و اهي الجوله رقم 1 .. وقفتنا كانت للاناناس و الحمدالله كانت بدايه موفقه
Our tour guide Gary picks the places on the list ( above )according to the weather conditions and the location in the island, so it doesn’t mean that you should always begin with the first place on the list and end with the last one ! we began our tour with the last place which is the Pineapple Plantation.. كل رحله في في موقع المرشد السياحي فيها شرح الاماكن الي بتشوفونها .. بس مو شرط بالترتيب .. مرشدنا السياحي الخاص قيري علمنا اول يوم انه دايما يختار الاماكن حسب الجو و الموقع و قبل لا نمشى راوانا خط السير على خريطه الجزيره … في الرحله الاولى كان مفروض ننهيها بزياره محميات الاناناس بس احنا بدينا بالعكس … زرنا الاناناس اول شي

welcome to the pineapple plantation A.Arruda in Faja de Baixo, this pinenapple production in glass greenhouses is unique in the world and typical from Sao Miguel Island.
At Sao Miguel pineapple plantation, There is a row of several glass greenhouses where Pineapples are produced . Gary our tour guide took us to each one and explained the stages of Pineapple plantation, from the newly planted ones to those with fruit ready to be picked . He said that in each greenhouse they plant about 1000 pineapple plants. I didn’t know about this information before, after four to six months of planting the Pineapple , the greenhouse get smoked out at night by a bonfire with a can full of organic matter then in the morning the doors of the greenhouses are opened for airing. This procedure takes 8 months and helps the plants to flourish and bloom at the same time. And during the spring they paint the greenhouse in white to avoid direct sun rays on the pineapple plants. It takes about two years for a single pineapple to grow ! yes I didn’t know that too !
في موقع زراعه الاناناس الي زرناه عندهم صفه كامله محميات للانانس .. اول شي على بالنا انه كلهم نفس الشي تالي شرح لنا المرشد السياحي بعد ما دخلنا كل محميه و شفنا من بدايه زراعه الاناناس لحين وقت قطفه .. المراحل العديده و الي تاخذ فتره على ما يكتمل نموه .. المكان ما فيه مرشد .. كل مرشد سياحي معاه قروبه يشرحله .. من الاشياء الي شرحها لنا قيري انه كل محميه فيها تقريبا 1000 اناناسه و في وحده من المحميات تشيل 2000 اناناسه و من المعلومات اغريبه الي قال لنا عنها .. اهيه انه في مرحله من المراحل يتم اغلاق البيبات و اشعال نار داخل المحميه في علب صغيره تنحط بالممرات و يخلونها لين الصبح تالي يفتحون و يهوون المحميه .. هالشي يسوونه لمده 6 اشهر تقريبا لانه يساعد على نمو الاناناس كله في نفس الوقت ….وايد معلومات قال لنا اياها بس للاسف نسيتها … خلونا ناخد الجوله بالصور على مراحل زراعه الاناناس 
و آخر شي خذينا جوله في محل الهدايا و التذكارات .. يا حلوهم الي يشتغلون فيه من دشينا استجوبوا مرشدنا يبون يعرفون احنا من أي ديره .. اول مره يشوفون بنات محجبات .. الهم المحل كل فيه عليه اناناس ! غير طبها الاناناس الي ينوكل من مربيات و غيرها .. وايد تحسفت اني ما شريت كريم اناناس و هم البورسلان الي عليه رسمه اناناس ! دايما جذي في اول يوم جوله بالسفر تكون طايره عيوني و مستانسه ما اركز على الاشياء الي اشوفها … زياره محميات الاناناس حلوه و هم خفيفه و سريعه و انصح فيها الناس الي يحبون الزراعه و معلوماتها
