It’s always fun to plan for a new trip and travel around the world whether to getaway  to relax or seek a new adventure or to explore a new destination. We start with  planning and then doing all the necessary reservations. But when it comes to packing, many people find that it’s the worst part of getting ready for a new trip and that’s because they just don’t know how to pack right and light .I have to say that great trips starts with great packing ! For me, it’s one of the most enjoyable things to do before taking a trip ! I actually start packing one month before taking the trip. Anyways, Do you want to know my secret tips to packing light ?

1- Always write down a packing list.

2- Pack early, the earlier you back, the more you know what you really need for your trip. You will have time to go over the stuff that you placed in your luggage and think if you really need them for the trip .

3-  Pack what you need not what you want. I know that everyone wants to take almost everything they like to wear or use with them wherever they go, but hey the real pleasure of traveling is to learn how you can survive without all the things that you love to wear or use 😉

4- Before you start packing, check the climate at the destination you’re traveling too.

5- Pack more  tops than bottoms.

6- Pack travel size toiletries and cosmetics.

7- Pack some old clothes or old stuff like your pyjamas or shoes then throw them at the end of your trip or just leave them behind, that way you will have a free space to fill if you’re planning to do some shopping at the destination .

The more I travel, the more I learn how to pack light 🙂 I hope these tips help you in packing for your next trip !
