Katara The Valley of Cultures in Qatar

This was the new thing that I added to my second visit to Qatar, I’ve seen Katara !

I really loved the name Katara so cute and with the K :)I tired to check their site but Its under construction 🙁

So what is Katara ?its a cultural Village that includes a massive open amphitheatre, an opera house, a cinema which could double as a drama theatre, a multi-purpose hall, a beach, handicrafts souq, book market, international restaurants and cafes and lots of space for visitors to roam around.

This is a mosque ! I wanted to lay down on that gold shinnig wall ! If it was  a floor I would have done it 😛

Many Qatari organisations have their offices in Katara. These include the Qatari Society for Engineers, Qatar Fine Arts Society, Visual Art Centre, Qatar Photographic Society, Childhood Cultural Centre, Theatre Society and Qatar Music Academy.

What I loved about that place the restaurants and the cafes 😛
and the music in that cultural theme ! The played music all over the place(cultural music) jalsaat ghanaaawiii o 6arab khyaliyaa ! so when I asked one office that I want a copy of these songs and how can I get it:P he told me its from Sout Alkhaleej and its broadcasting from Katara right now ! unfortunately I didn’t have time to go to their office 🙁

However, I’ve been enjoying listening to their music through their site Sout Alkhaleej and also downloading some since I got back from Qatar 😉

Katara is a MUST visit when you are in Qatar, I’ve been there at night because I was told its the best time to go there.

Also I was told by a Qatari that the restaurants in Katara are considered expensive but when I was there I already found out that its really hard to get a table at the time , its better to make your reservations !

and yeah dress up well I mean you need to look good in that place:P its just for yourself I mean not for the people:).

Our hotel Four Season Hotel Doha is the one at the end left 😉

Lovely place to have a walk and dinner , what got to my attention is that the place was so perfect ! I was looking for some dirt on the floors or anything I mean anything that makes me say yeah nobody is perfect but couldn’t find a thing mashallah !


I wonder how Qatar does it ! but really If they keep doing its gonna be the best place ever to reflect our Islamic Aarabian Culture in the Region.


I wonder what its gonna be in 2022 ! Best of Luck to them 🙂 really proud  
Now tell me who’s going to Qatar soon:P Ok I wanna go back there lol  

Update ! By coincidence I found this in Today’s alwatan Newspaper !

So what’s coming Up next ? Yes more of Souq Waqif from my second visit 😉 and still more to discover in that amazing market.

then well be off back to the States , fly with me in my trip with Virgin America from NYC to LA 🙂 can’t Wait I feel like I’m doing that trip again only from posting !
