Couldn’t Leave Miami without trying it ! You Just don’t know what you’re missing until you’re there Its Joe’s Stone Crab ! What’s about Joe’s ? its was established in 1913 by Joe Weiss and his wife they opened up a small lunch counter on Miami Beach. However in 1918, Joe and Jennie ( his wife )bought a bungalow on Biscayne Street – Miami.
They moved into the back, set up tables on the front porch, cooked in the kitchen, and called it Joe’s Restaurant. Jennie waited on tables, Joe cooked, and everything started to grow from there. They were the only restaurant on the beach for about eight years there was no competition.
On that last day in Miami, As usual we were running out of time and suppose to leave back to Orlando during daylight 😉 so I had to rush them out when were shopping at Bal Harbour Shops ! come on come on there is still one place I need to go by before hitting the road Back to Orlando ! I had to try Joe’s ! So when we arrived at Joe’s ….
well as you can see the restaurant is consisted of two Large buildings ! we parked acroos the street in a free public parking 🙂 The big suprise was the the restaurant was closed !!! we arrived at 3 PM! according to their hours they open at 11:30am-2:00 pm then from 5pm-10pm. But Guess what was the big suprise that made smile and happy all the way back to Orlando ? They have Take away !!! I know the menu might differ from the dining restaurant but still I got the chance to try something ! its better than nothing 🙂 also so that I can know if I should come back on my next visit or not ! well let’s take a look at Joe’s take away ….

Let’s have in mind that they all went back to the car !! because they didn’t want to have it as take away ! well this doesn’t work wih me lol ! I’m not gonna miss it even if they offer me to eat at the kitchen 😛 So I went in …..
So I asked the people around there, its my first time and as usual I always say recomend me something that makes me wanna come back again ! and they recommended the Stone Crab, I took the Medium (8 Claws) they were for 25.95$.
and I got me some other stuff too 😉 while I was there , one guy came to me and made my day actually he and his wife with their lovely words … he told me Hi, your’e a muslim right ? ( because of my Hijab- Head scarve ) so I said with a big smile yes I am , he told me are you living in Miami ofcourse I said I wish lol then I told him why are you asking me that? then his wife who was standing beside him joined our conversation smiling we are just so happy to see a muslim girl in miami with her hijab ! its actually our first time ! LOOOOL then she continued we are muslims !!!! but she wasn’t wearing a Hijab 🙂 I was Happy ( madri shako ) bs I told them I’m glad that I’m the first Muslimg irl with a Hejab you see in Miami ..I’m honored lol . its just if my family weren’t waiting for me in the car I would have joined them for lunch 😛 yeah I like to get to know people from around the world and exchange experiences.
Anyways, 😛 now I’m back to the car let’s se what I got me ….

Joe’s is a MUST its Miami’s thing ! 3aib you go miami o ma tgarbona 😛 I’m serious ! those Crab tasted amazingly delicious !!!
The best thing is that Joe’s does not accept reservations. Our customers are seated on a first come, first served basis 😉 and Joe’s Take away will be closing this summer 😛 so make sure to go by the restaurant and always chek the hours before you go 😉

3alaykom bil 3afia, even though i am not a crab fan that i would not eat it much unless it's sliced into realy thin pieces and mixed with something. but i am sure what you ate tasted good with the dip.

the Stig: If you have the chance GO ! London no god in the summer … skip london save the money join them for the states … going La then go for san fransisco ! and my dream trip to yosmite national park ! you can cam there ! and vegas this comes all in one …but if you'e going to Florida then bare te hot sun ! and humidity during summer 🙂 tra 9oob LA fi ayaam e9eer braaad fa its better to summer vacation there
