IMIDŽ-T Restaurant – Bosnia

 

like if I’m in a movie scene… like what I dreamed of ! to dine ! to be in a far far away place up in the mountains when its really freezing and snowing outside ! I realized that my  dream came true while I was standing there taking that photo of ” Imidiz – T restaurant ” ..through my camera’s lens I saw how its possible for dreams to come true if you believe in them 😉 dreams come true not only for those people in the movies but also for you 😉

I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived at  that restaurant …what kind of food am going to have …the idea itself of that restaurant and snow made me feel comfortable and brought me joy 🙂  the first thing you need is a fireplace if you’re in such a freezing weather 😉 and ofcourse consider the road trip then I need a clean toilet too 😛 as for what to order later I left it to our driver ..I asked him to ask the waiter that I want to have some delicious food that will make me come back again ! that’s what I usually say when  dine at restaurants during my trips 😉 so they could serve me the best food …. didn’t have time to look over the big menu that is full of many dishes …while the driver took care of my order ..I went out to take some more photos since many things got my attention when I was on my way in …ready guys ? yallah let’s go !

 

 the enterance of the restaurant … which looks like some tools that they used to use in the old days in farming or maybe cooking and preparing food …with don’t speak english much at this restaurant and I forgot to tell my driver to explain what are those stuff to me 🙁 now check the upcoming with me …on the other side of the restaurant, there was a cute small animal barn ! but by the time I was there is a snow barn too 😛

 and a play ground in the barn with Troy hourse for the little kids ..e ma yqoloon elyahal ymkin ela7qoon el little animals o ythbe7oonhum 😛 bs 3yalnaa eshwaya fa9leen 😛

 

 now that we’ve seen alot of the outside let’s go inside and check out the restaurant and the amazing food that awaits !

 etha ma knt ghal6ana its a squirrel or at least as it looks like lol …its looked different but its more of a squirrel than a rat 😛  

 notice the little vintage baby crib right at the left corner of the table …  you can find many vintage stuff decorating the restaurant from the inside …   

 

when I saw those traditional cute curtains ( aham shay el snow eli barrah el manthaar khyaaaal )  with the lightening decoration for Christmas and new year’s I realized that I have to ask if they have rooms to rent upstairs and spend the night in the mountains 😛 kila min el aflaaam kilaa min hl movies ana mali sheghl 😀 ofcourse they said no 😛 but guess what it is offered at some restaurants specially at those family business restaurants that you can find in the roads 🙂 

 and the most important thing you want is the fire place 🙂 

 and here is our table ! I was lucky the the place wasn’t crowded when we arrived so I had to choose were to sit 🙂 sorry I know I’m bringing you many photos in one post but Im so excited about all the places I’ve been I want you all to have them in mind when you plan to visit Bosnia 🙂 now it is time for the delicious FOOD …remember when I mentioned in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Before you go post  how bosnian people love meat ? well there you go … 

 ” Begova Čorba ”  a popular Bosnian soup (Chorba) made of meat and vegetables !moooo 6beee3iyaaa !! latheeetha ! o m3a elbard ekmalat elsalfaa ! 7adha etdaafii 😉 I had this Chorba at many restaurant but IMIDZ-T  serves the best !  3mri ma akamil el shoriba cuz usually etqeth o wraha akel but with this Chorba I ate some of the bread too …you are supposed to eat it all 🙂 

 yes yes yesssss hatha leban !!! lebaanhum eyanin !! I ordered from that Leban twice !!! aham shay el cup yeshaweq !

Now the Killer Dish …saucy Meat one of them I don’t really remember which one … the dish consists of lamp and beef .. I don’t recall the name of the dish but its the No.1 order at the restaurant … amazing taste in a light dish that is cooked in light spices with vegetables ! don’t miss it ! its s tipical bosnian dish  

Now let’s check out the desserts ..I asked the waitress to bring us a big dish that has all bosnian desserts ..to be honest they are ok but not that delicious …but certainly worth a trey ..always go and try new food specially the local cuisine of the destination you’re at ..

so what’s on this plate the things that I can recall ..

•  “Baklava ” :  its flaky pastry with a filling of nuts, drenched in sugar syrup or honey  …y3ni beklawah 🙂 I think its the one with the powder sugar .
•  “Hurmašice” date-shaped pastry drenched in a sweet syrup its the date on the plate 🙂
• “Tulumbe”  deep-fried dough sweetened with syrup. its the one on the lower right corner .
• “Kadaif” is something like Kanafa . its the one on the upper left corner of the plate .
• as for that thing soaked in Chocolate it Armut but I coldn’t find its name online … please my lovely readers from Bosnia give me the right name 🙂

 Amazing meal we had ..loved each detail of that place ..the food .. the waiters are so friendly although all we exchanged is smiles or sign language 😀 but you can see how welcoming they are specially that I loook different and from abroad ..! a very warm welcoming environment …

 

 and it was time for Green Tea ! 6b3an between each order I made I went around the place 😛 mstansa 3la el mokaan wayed 7lo el atmosphere mashallah ! 

 Allah allah o y7laaa el green tea bil bard 🙂 So how did I know about that Place ?  for the guys who already follow me on twitter or instagram ..you noticed that I bought ” Sarajevo Guide Book ” while I was there …while reading the guide I noticed that  IMIDŽ-T Restaurant was listed in restaurants with traditional bosnian cuisine .. I asked the driver about that Place and guess what ! he was already planning to take us there 😀 its not really far from Sarajevo … I’ve been to that place twice ! yes twice …the first was on my first day in Bosnia , the second was on my last day to say goodbye Bosnia by having a delicious meal 🙂 and ofcourse el liban el3jeeeb o elshorobah 😀

  More of that restaurant is coming up ! why ? because the second time I visited that place it was heavily snowing 😀 I have very nice shots of the snow falling of the Sky 😀
