Vrelo Bosne ” Spring of Bosna ” – Sarajevo

Was I dreaming ? surrounded by White Snow .. freezing like never before !! eshway o a9eer thaljah 😛 emptiness all over the place … the place was not like how it is in summer as they say … how it used to be … all covered with green beauty … I loved how winter had invaded that place but beautifully !

So what is this place ? what’s about that place ? its the strongest water springs in Bosnia & Herzegovina. It is surrounded by a lovely park ( which I visited ) . A three-kilometer-long tree-lined walkway connects Vrelo Bosne to Ilidža that has been known for its thermal springs since the Roman times. 

 Beacause of the Cold weather I think it was 10 -C . I couldn’t reach the spring, actually we reached the place but I had to take another walk through the park to reach it ! and guess what ! I couldn’t ! why because if I did that time I would have turned into a piece of ICE 😛 I barely could move my hands and feet !

  The paths and roads inside the park are ideal for walks . Outdoor cafés are available offering drinks and snacks but opening times vary from season to season. Typical animals are ducks and swans among others. ofcourse when I visited that place in last december 2011 , it was only me out there 😛 non of that was be available no people not cafes no life 🙂

 During the Bosnian War the park was not maintained and trees were chopped and used for heating by the local citizens. In 2000 the park was restored to its former look by local youths led by an international ecological organization.

   its a relaxation and recreational heaven for over a century. the place is considered  Bosina’s  top natural landmarks and is one of the most famous scenes of natural beauty in the region. 

  this place is well known for the best spas … 

  

  

 While I was walking around the place ( metlathma ma tbayen ela 3yooni 😛 ) I found some horse-carriages ! although it was freezing I’m not going to miss a new experience because of the weather 😀 eli fi bali o kha6rii asaweeh 😛 so I took a short ride thorugh the long avenue in the park that will lead to Vrelo Bosne. The avenue itself contains traditional buildings from the Austro-Hungarian-era offering a peek into the luxuries of the past …..Now Join me in my ride 🙂   

 I call that Beauty …I sat on that bench for acouple of minutes 😛 I wanted to stay more bs moooot barrd zamhareeer 🙂

 I see something about Kuwait 😛 I stayed in that place for an hour ! going around and taking that hourse carriage ride around the place ..I wanted to reach the Vrelo Bosne but as I mentioned I couldn’t because of that freezing weather …hopefully next time I will see it during the right season ” summer ” 😉
