The Souk at Qaryat AlBeri

One of the best when you stay at a hotel is to find somewhere nice and close to hang out at ..although I like to commute whle traveling using taxis but still I love to wander the streets 😉 you run into more hidden places when you are going on foot right ? anyways from where I stayed Fairmont Bab alBahr , you can enjoy a nice walk for 10 minute then you’re at The Souk at Qayat AlBeri ! its the walk you take straight from your hotel on the same street that you don’t have tocross a street to the opposite side 🙂 its a nice place to do some lught shopping for souvenirs and also have a nice meal at cafes or restaurants ! for me its a must pass by when in Abu Dhabi !

the place reminded me of mainat alsalam – dubai …but let’s say from my opinion I felt this place has more traditional cultural spirit ..I guess because I couldn’t find so many foreigners there …. all local sekan abu dhabi daaaar ethaaaabi ;P so it felt like home and not home 🙂

Unfortunately I arrived there late 🙁 so I didn’t have the time to go all around the nice little shops there that sell many unique items …but I had the chance to do something else …not planned ofcourse but there it was right there and I said why not ! take a look 😉

So I’ll show you at the end of the post what I went with 😉 The indian girl was so sweet and good in her job ! I always give my attention to those who are good in oing their jobs ! I loved to listen and listen while they convince me to buy or gt that thing ..why I love it ? because I studies promaganda and marketing 😉 she has to close in 10 minutes and leave but instead she nsisted ongiving me that henna ! so I said yes !  

 

 

that was a short tour around the place it was late night at most of the little shops were closed ! but guess what !! We had the chance to dine at one amazing place ! bilsedfaaaa ! recommended by lovely local teens who were standing next to me while I was checking the stand menu next to therestaurants’s enterance ! …..more to come in the next post ! you will love it but more if you go and try it 😛  

 and Voilaaaaaaa !!! had dinner with the henna on my hands 😛 thank god it got dry by the time dinner was served 😛 the photo was taken in the hallway to my room in our Hotel Fairmont Bab Albahr Abu Dhabi
