This is were we enjoyed a night listening to “Lisbon’s soulful sound” Fado music. After spending four days in the Azores, we returned back to Lisboa, the capital of Portugal to spend one night then continue our tour exploring the beautiful regions of Portugal. We had it planned how to spend that night. We booked tickets to “Uma Noite em Casa de Amália” which means “One Night at Amália House” it’s a live theatre that will introduce you to the “ queen of Fado” Amália Rodrigues , The women who intruduce fado to the world.
في هالمسرح الي بالصوره فوق .. قضينا ليله غنائيه في ربوع لشبونه تعرفنا فيها على الموسيقى الاولى للبرتغال و اهي جزء من ثقافه البرتغال… موسيقى الفادو .. بعد وصولنا الي لشبونه من رحله من بونتا دلقادا من ساو ميغييل – جزر الازويس .. طلعنا سيدنا من المطار الى اوتيلنا في وسط العاصمه و كان اوتيل يديد غير الي سكناه في اول رحلتنا للبرتغال و انشالله راح اكتب عنه تقرير خاص .. المهم بعد ما وصلنا و حطينا شغلنا بغرفنا بالفندق .. نزلنا و رحنا مشي تقريبا 10 دقايق للمسرح لمشاهده مسرحيه غنايئه فيها مقتطفات و احداث مهمه من حياه مغنيه الفادو الاولى الي يلقبونها بملكه الفادو لي يومنا هذا.. المغنيه اماليا رودريقاس المغنيه الي عرفت العالم على موسيقى الفادو ..
What is Fado? It’s the cultural folk Music of Portugal so it’s the country’s national musical treasure .There are two styles of Fado: Lisbon and Coimbra. In Lisbon it is always sung by a solo performer, while in Coimbra it is often performed by groups of male university students. They are accompanied by two guitarists, one playing the melody on a twelve-stringed Portuguese guitar. The songs are usually about love, woes, and pains, or express sadness and longing for things that were lost or that were never accomplished, but in Coimbra, it also occasionally contains humor and political undertones. The word “ FADO” comes from the Latin fatum, meaning fate.
شنو بالضبط مويقى الفادو ؟ شخصيا احب اسمع الموسيقى بانواعها و خلال رحلتي للبرتغال تعرفت على نوع من الموسيقى .. موسيقى الفادو .. تتضمن غناء و هم عزف على آله مثل العود بس شكلها غير و يكون الغناء غالبا حزين او يسرد قصه حب حزينه فيها فراق و الم او حرب او عزله .. عشان جذي وايد شفنا بسوقهم تذكارات تنباع عن موسيقى الفادو من ضمنها جنطه عليها رسمه مغنيه تغني الفادو و تبجي بنفس الوقت و لمى سالت الي تبيع قالتي لانه موسيقى الفادو اغلبها حزين ..في انواع من الفادو ممكن شخص واحد يغنيها او شخصين .. و هم مغنيه الفادو اماليا اقدرت تمزج بين الموسيقى الاسبانيه مع الفادو باكثر من اغنيه ..شخصيا واايد اعجبتني موسيقى الفادو و اعتقد يرجع السبب لاني سمعتها بمكانها و ضواحيها ..
Why “One Night at Amália House” ? Fado is almost played everywhere in Lisbon in cafes, restaurants, clubs, bars and streets too. But it was Amalia Rodrigues in the 20th century who made Fado known beyond Portugal, performing all over Europe, Japan, South America, and even in the United States, in New York’s “La Vie en Rose” in the 1950s. That’s why we wanted to experience Fado by attending a play ““One Night at Amália House” by Filipe La Féria. This play is about the legendary reunions that Amália Rodrigues promoted in her house with famous Portuguese and Brazilians poets and musicians. The play stayed in scene during 6 years and was represented in the biggest Europeans theatres; Lisbon, Paris, Geneva, and other capitals through out the world, making the play an historical mark for the Portuguese Culture. An amazing play with Amalia’s Fado . Her CD “The Art of Amalia” is one of the best introductions to Fado. when she died in 1999, the government declared three days of national mourning and awarded her a state funeral. As a national icon, she is buried in Lisbon’s National Pantheon. While in Portugal, specially in Lisboa you can hear her voice in the streets and markets, played again and again, she is the soulful sound of Portugal. On that night I fell in love with Fado music, I know it’s kind of weird because by that time, I only enjoyed the music, the magical music that was played at its orgins and felt in its streets and city. But now after learing Portuguese I started to understand most Fado songs 😀
ليش نقينا انه نحضر هالمسرحيه؟ … مسرحيه ليله في بيت او كازا اماليا ؟ بما انه موسيقى الفادو اهيه الموسيقى الخاصه بالبرتغال فشي طبيعي تلقونها كل مكان .. يتم عزفها لايف او موسيقى سي دي بالقهاوي و المطاعم و هم باراتهم بعد و في عروض صغيره و هم بالشارع ! بكل الاوقات حتى الصبح و احنا نتمشى بشوارع لشبونه في سيارات خاصه واقفه بس تشغل موسيقى الفادو و تبيع سي ديز لمغنيين الفادو القدم و الحاليين ….بس احنا قلنا دام انه اول مره نبيي البرتغال نبي نتعرف على هالموسيقى عن طريق مسرحيه فيها مشاهد مختلفه و احداث صارت في بيت ملكه الفادو … اماليا ! هالمسرحيه الي رحنالها تنقلت و انعرضت باكبر العواصم الاوروبيه .. مغنيه الفادو او ملكه الفادو اماليا الي توفت سنه 1999 تعتبر عندهم مثل ام كلثوم ! واااايد يحبوونها لدرجه انه لمه توفت الحكومه اعلنت الحداد لثلاثه ايام ..كان لها الفضل في تعريف العالم على موسيقى الفادو البرتغاليه و حزتها خذت اماليا جوله غنائيه حول العالم تضمنت بعض دول اوروبا واليابان و امريكا اللاتينيه و حتى امريكا ! كانت لها علاقات مع عده شعراء و من ضمنهم شعراء برازيليين .. موسيقى الفادو اهيه روح لشبونه و انصحكم اذا بتزورون لشبونه تحضرون هالمسرحيه لانها وايد حلوه و راقيه و القعده مريحه بالمسرح احسن من القهاوي
و البارات و هالاماكن .. واايد استمتعت و الغريب انه ما كنت افهم شي من الاغاني بس الي شدني صوت
المغنيه الي تلعب دور اماليا و قوه ادائها !الموسيقى جميله و اقدر اقول اني حبيت موسيقى الفادو و اليوم بعد ما تعلمت اللغه البرتغاليه بديت افهم بعض الاغاني حبيتها اكثر .. اخليكم مع بعض الصور الي خذيتها
